When learning guitar it’s essential to cover the fundamentals first. Things like chords, scales, strumming, popular songs and so on.
There comes a time however when you’ve successfully laid that solid foundation down, so now what?
The answer is to specialize in a particular style of guitar playing. It could be fingerstyle or country, blues or classical… the choice depends upon what style of music you’re most drawn to. It’s known as your musical direction.
Ideally you should learn the basics of as many different guitar styles as possible as this will make you a more rounded and better musician but normally guitarists choose to go in one particular direction.
As a way of giving you that all important first taste of the different styles of guitar open to you I’ve created a range of guitar courses. Each one will quickly teach you the basics of the guitar style in question so that you can quickly add them to your repertoire.
It’s a lot of fun to play different kinds of music and you may even be quite surprised to find out just how easy it can be too!
