In this module I’ll show you many of the easiest songs to play on guitar. Each video contains a walk through the chord progressions you’ll need and also the strumming patterns used. Assuming you’ve already been through the earlier lessons on this site you should find most of them pretty easy to do.
It’s best to categorize songs on guitar into two distinct groups…
- Easy Strumming Songs – where you simply strum along to the chord progressions.
- Melody/Chord Songs – this is where you play both the chords and the melody of the song at the same time and what you should ultimately be aiming for.
WARNING: Please make sure that you have already spent a lot of time practicing your chords and strumming before you start learning songs.
One of the most common mistakes many beginners make is they tend to rush into learning songs before they are truly ready. This almost always leads to failure and frustration!
It’s very important that you spend enough time going through the guitar course in the members area before you get into songs. It’ll make everything so much easier to do.
