Fender standard ash tele guitar
It’s said in the books of rock history that the Telecaster was responsible for a musical revolution. It’s such a simple guitar yet so powerful and versatile when in the hands anyone brave enough to play from the heart. It was introduced in the 1950’s actually as the Broadcaster and since then guitarists in practically all musical genres have utilized it’s great sound and playability.
This particular Fender Standard Tele boasts a traditional ash body so typical of Telecasters and seeks to marry the best of the old with the modern advancements of today.
It features a fast action neck and fretboard made of maple which feels immediately comfortable to play as though it were already worn in. The neck has a modern C shaped contour so it’s less thinner than classic models and that’s often why they get labelled as being ‘faster’. Depending upon your hand size you may still prefer the older, fatter necks. Lastly you’ll find 21 medium jumbo, vintage style frets across the fretboard which are beautifully built into the neck in typical Fender quality.
Tuning on this Tele is very stable especially since it’s of a fixed bridge design. It’s always great to have a guitar which really tunes up perfectly right down to the last millimetre of intonation. The machine heads are die-cast and very smooth. The string-thru bridge makes changing strings really easy and stress free.
You get the standard pickup combination of neck and bridge with the 3 position selector plus master volume and tone. There’s chrome hardware throughout this guitar with the standard Tele bridge.
If your looking for a well priced Telecaster from Fender that plays true and tunes up really well then be sure to check this model out.
