How does a metronome work? The electronic device signals you the current time signature. Usually, the signals are represented by ticks and clicks. The ticks and clicks her synchronize with if the current time signature. It is important that you are able to hear it well enough so that you could want it or if you are on or off tempo. Now, how is this useful in your practice? Well, you could use it to control your tempo. The best way to practice is firs start with a slow tempo, and the metronome could help you on that. When the time comes that you need to increase speed, simply adjust your metronome. That’s it!
